The original in the adidas Yeezy Boost 380 lineup, the Alien colorway features a Primeknit upper with a muted gray camouflage pattern. One of the latest in the Yeezy Boost series, the shoe was released in extremely limited quantities in the final months of 2019. The sneaker boasts West's trademark super-chunk sole, a hyper-cushioned midsole, and superior ventilation via perforations in the midfoot. Extremely well-received, the Alien set the scene for the Mist colorway, a bolder variation on the theme. This newer member of the Yeezy 380 family shares the same silhouette as the Alien, but West turned up the heat ever so slightly with the color. The Mist's notable chestnut brown base works in perfect sync with the shoe's beige laces and the beige-on-gray camo upper. Available in a larger range of sizes than the Alien, the Mist was clearly intended for a broader audience.
